Gambio is the flexible shop software that is used successfully by more than 25,000 businesses for their online shops. We have been developping Gambio in Bremen since 2005 and always have our customers' needs in mind.

In addition, we have established a large Gambio community with thousands of active users and maintain a comprehensive network of partners in order to always provide the latest functionalities to enable you to successfully sell online.
Yes! Gambio is easy to use even for complete novices and if you do have a question or a problem you can always count on our support to help you out.
Yes! All functionalities and features that we describe on our website or the respective Cloud plan are included.
Your PC does not have to meet any specific requirements. All you need is an internet connection and a browser to call up your shop.
Yes! Our shop is successfully used all around the globe. However, we have to point out that we currently only offer support in German.
This is a topic we handle with great care. As of yet we are not aware of any case where one of our customers received a legal warning concerning one of the shop functionalities. Although we try as hard as we can to eliminate all known reasons for potential legal warnings, the danger cannot be disputed. We do promise however, that we will do anything in our power to make the shop as legally secure as possible.
Our Cloud plans include individually created and automatically delivered legal texts from selected partners for all our customers. These legal texts are updated if necessary (e.g. in case of changes in laws) via an interface.
You do not need to worry about shop updates one single bit with the Gambio Cloud. Your shop will be updated by us automatically and regularly and thus always be up to date.
If you run your shop on your own server, you can download every shop update for free as part of our support.
If you opt for one of our Gambio Cloud packages, we take care of the hosting, installation and all updates for your shop. This, as well as the support, is included in your monthly fee.
You can, however, also install and run the software on your own server/webspace. In that case you are yourself responsible for hosting, installing and updating your shop with the updates we provide for free.
If you decide to self-host your Gambio shop you receive the full functionality of the shop at the time of the purchase. Afterwards you are responsible for hosting, mantaining and updating your shop yourself.
In comparison to our Cloud solutions, you profit from higher flexibility and customizability for your shop. Be it for the development of necessary functionalities or specific integrations.
We currently offer the e-commerce starter package free of charge as part of our cloud tariffs. We will help you move your Gambio shop to the Gambio Cloud free of charge and provide you with a personal customer advisor.
We support merchants that are currently using a different shop system by offering a migration service. We help you migrate your data like e.g. articles, orders or customer data.
We also assist you in adopting the design of your current shop for Gambio.
You can create as many categories as you want. There are no restrictions regarding the number of categories and category-levels.
Yes! You can easily make these changes from the admin area. All colors, fonts, menu boxes, background images etc. can also freely be adjusted from the admin area.
Yes! You can determine the inventory for each article. If an article is sold, the stock is automatically reduced. If you do not want to use this functionality, you can always deactivate it.
Yes! Via the content manager you can create and manage as many pages as you want.
Yes, that is possible. You can create as many options as you want per article. That way, customers have the option to choose the desired variation of the product.
Our Cloud plans include individually created and automatically delivered legal texts from selected partners for all our customers. These legal texts are updated if necessary (e.g. in case of changes in laws) via an interface. This includes e.g. GTC, data protection and imprint.
Instead of having to additionally buy these services, you can use the offers from our partners IT-Recht Kanzlei or Protected Shops for free and profit from an update service. With IT-Recht Kanzlei this includes an implied assumption of liability, so that you will be represented free of charge in case of legal warnings regarding the legal texts from IT-Recht Kanzlei.
Support means that we help you with your questions or problems relating to the software. If, for example, you have questions regarding a certain setting or receive an error message, just contact us, your support, to have the error fixed ASAP. If you want to have additional functionalities programmed for your shop, this naturally is not part of the support.
Immediately! The shop will be ready within seconds at a click of a button. You can start instantly.
Naturally you will receive a proper and deductible invoice with declared VAT.

It doesn't matter if you are a novice or an ecommerce old-timer. Our cloud tariffs offer the necessary functionality to small merchants and established companies alike.
In addition to the software, Gambio offers its Gambio Cloud customers a starter package with a personal consultant to make starting your own shop as smooth as possible. Legal texts, remarketing tools and connections to marketplaces are already included in all Cloud packages.
To top it off, you also get our professional support and access to our Gambio community, so that you will find quick answers for all questions relating to the shop, an be able to focus on the essentials: selling.
All our Cloud servers are located in Germany and we host your shop in accordance with the principles of european data protection.
Selling your products on established marketplaces like Amazon or eBay is an important measure to generate interest in your articles.
There are no restrictions, you can create as many articles as you need - naturally without additional costs.
You can upload as many images as you want.
No Problem! Simply link from the existing website to the shop and back. By adapting the shopdesign to the design of the website, you create a coherent customer experience. Your visitors will hardly notice that it's two separate systems.
Yes! The necessary functionalities are integrated in the shop.
That depends on whether you want to self-host our shop solution or opt for the Gambio Cloud.
If you host our shop solution yourself, you are responsible for the legal texts. If you however decide to go with Gambio Cloud, a free legal texts package from one of our legal partners is included for you.
Absolutely! The shopsoftware is and will remain OpenSource under the GNU General Public License, Version 2, (GPL).
